Braveheart the rescued Goose

Today I met a beautiful goose

He is a goose who takes on horses!! 😮😂 He attacks legs of any being he chooses, and at anytime he feels the urge! 😂 this is not a goose to mess with

He lives at Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary

Today was my 2nd visit to the sanctuary, and I thought I’d be working with some lambs.... yet...when my eyes met those of this goose, I knew plans had changed

He is currently in an enclosure with his mate, as his last encounter with one of the horses didn’t go quite so well for him! 😮

He is very protective of his mate, and really isn’t keen on humans, so I figured it only made sense to work with him from the other side of the fence

I started with plant medicine self selection by offering oils selected for physical and emotional anxiety and tightness, moving towards anti inflammatories, pain release for physical and emotional. He responded well

Then I brought in the energy

An idea appeared in my mind... to go in and see how he would respond! I really didn’t know!

This is a goose who DOES NOT like human contact...

Yet what I discovered...

Trust. Contact. Comfort 💜

As he sat on my head/shoulder I felt his fast heartbeat and breathing slow and soften, and his body relax

He was there for about 5 mins, then jumped down

He walked away, came back and stood next to me, gently rubbing my arm with his head. I reached over and picked him up. He was completely relaxed. I placed him on my lap and we sat in silence for several minutes

This was repeated twice more

Then he slowly stood and indicated he was ready to move off. I placed him back on the floor and he joined his mate for a a slow and relaxed squark

When we listen, connect and 'see' magic happens 💜
